About the Role
At CheckPayee, we’re building the infrastructure of trust for European payments. Our real-time API verifies payees before payments are processed — protecting users and reducing APP fraud. As our Multilingual Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be the voice of our company across Italy, France, and Germany, helping clients implement our solutions and maximize their fraud prevention efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Technical Support: Help clients with API integrations and platform usage
- Onboard New Clients: Guide them through implementation processes
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with key stakeholders at client organizations
- Create Documentation: Maintain knowledge base articles in multiple languages
- Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work with product, engineering, and sales teams to resolve client issues
Language Requirements
- Italian: Native or C2 level proficiency
- French: Native or C2 level proficiency
- German: Native or C2 level proficiency
- English: Fluent (B2+ level) for internal communication
Requirements
Must Have
- Native or near-native proficiency in Italian, French, and German
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- 2+ years of customer support experience in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand APIs
- Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Intercom)
- Customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with payment systems or financial technology
- Knowledge of SEPA regulations and compliance requirements
- Previous experience supporting API integrations
- Understanding of fraud prevention concepts
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
